Nadine Parsons began her journey in the fashion industry upon completing a degree in Music Performance from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Upon moving to Toronto in 2005, she studied Fashion Marketing & Merchandising at the International Academy of Design & Technology and completed an editorial internship at Flare Magazine.
From there, she got her beginning in promotions with a major Accessory based licensing firm, designing and implementing national marketing initiatives while continuing to drive brand awareness. Upon a move back east with her husband she managed a network of Atlantic based retail stores and oversaw day to day operations, including visual merchandising, marketing campaigns, and overall staff direction.
Nadine came back to Toronto in the early Fall of 2011 and began working in wholesale sales and marketing with a local handbag designer, overseeing all aspects regarding sales account management, sourcing new clients, and maintaining relations with existing accounts.
In 2012 Nadine also began working with a Toronto based contemporary jewelry designer which quickly evolved into signing five more jewelry collections and launching her own fully comprehensive accessory based sales agency in early 2013. Clients over the years include Nordstrom, Indigo, Intermix and various independent boutiques nationwide.
In January of 2018, Nadine moved in to the position of 'Director of Wholesale' for Melanie Auld Jewelry to oversee all International wholesale initiatives.
Nadine is also an on-air style expert for The Shopping Channel in Canada with regular guest spots promoting various brands.
And poof! Just like that, life changed forever. Diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer in January 2018, Nadine is now re-working her life to include educating other women on breast cancer awareness & general support.
Stay tuned as the best is yet to come!
